The first stop on Tap Love World Tour is in the middle of Japan's hustle and bustle city, Tokyo. Yukiko 'Smilie' Misumi and Mika Komatsu, will be graciously hosting us. We look forward to finally seeing the Tap Dance scene which is revered throughout the world.

カンパニー在籍中の３年間、沢山のタップマスター達の作品を習得し、そのユニークな個性と独創性でオリジナル作品も数多く生み出してきた彼らは、数多くの賞と観衆からの絶賛を受け続け、現在タップ界の大物達からも非常に信頼、期待されているタップダンサー達です。
そんな彼らがWORKSHOPを開催。

Travis トラヴィス。（モントリオール出身）’00年、Gregory Hines と Savion Glover と共に映画 "Bojangles" に出演。シルクドソレイユのタップ部門のコンサルタントとしても才能を発揮し、’10年にはバンクーバーオリンピックの開会式に出演後、"Tap Dogs" に加わるなど、彼は真のエンターテイナー。ダイナミックでコミカルでセクシー！ 天性のリズム感を情熱的に奏でるトラヴィスは、タップ界の秘宝、未来の救世主として期待されています。

Thomas トーマスは、オーストラリア、メルボルン出身。彼に最も大きな影響と指導を与えたのは “Tap Dogs” の初代メンバー、Chris Horsey と “Melbourne International Tap Festival” の主宰、Grant Swift のふたり。’08年に渡米、各地タップ巡業を経て ’10年テキサス州へ。"Tapestry"に入団。彼の明確で軽快なリズムと、滑らかで温かい音は必聴です！

Tanya ターニャは、カナダ、モントリオールにてタップレジェンド Ethel Bruneau からタップを学び、のちカナダ、アメリカ各地で数多くのタップマスター達のもと、技術のみならずタップの知識教養を身につけ、'10年に ”Tapestry” に入団。主宰であるAcia Gray女史の指導のもと彼女の才能は大きく開花。チャーミングな笑顔、エネルギッシュなパフォーマンス、様々な表現力を持つ彼女の魅力を是非体感してください。

SEPT 3 THE JOURNEY BEGINS
Toronto, Canada, the multi-cultural metropolis, is a fitting place to start the tap love tour. 100 days from now we will return to Canada with a world of experiences, stories to tell, and steps to share. Our 10 country journey will take us to ASIA, AUSTRALIA, and EUROPE in the hopes of spreading tap love all around.

Looking forward to returning to Germany! The Tap Love Tour will be joining forces with Sebastian Weber and will be visiting 4 German cities, Leipzig, Hilden, Oldenburg and Heidelburg.

The tour continues in Singapore. Tanya and Travis will be teaching intensives at Dance Spectrum and Jitterbugs Swingapore (what a great name!).

Advanced beginners ($100/ day or $180/2days)
Saturday : 6-9.30pm 3hr workshop intensive
Sunday : 5.30-9pm Love Tap workshop
*for tappers 2 years and above*
Intermediate/advanced 6 hr Workshop Intensive ($200 for two days or if you can make it only one day, $120 for Saturday only)
Saturday : 6-9:30 pm
Sunday: 7-10 pm
*for tappers 5years and above and can do pullbacks and wings*
Observer ($20 per workshop)
Those who would like to watch the workshops but not dance, classes are open to obervers for both the Tap Love tour and Weekend Intensive workshops.

Love Tap workshop
Dance your way through the history of tap! Learn technique, musicality and history in just one class. Our guest Master Teachers will teach the history of tap by demonstrating and having you perform different tap steps from the different eras. Its a really fun class!
Weekend intensive
Routines, routines, routines! If you are hungry to lap up all new routines, Tanya and Travis are ready to share their wealth of routines with you.
